Supported Features

Requirements

In order to proceed with configuring login with SSO through Okta, you must:

Configuration Steps

You will need to provide your Okta credentials to Cabinet’s support team. You can request support by emailing [email protected]

  1. In the Okta dashboard, navigate to Applications and then select the Applications sub-menu.
  2. Click on Browse App Catalog, search for “Cabinet”, and add this application.
  3. Collect these 3 values to send to Cabinet’s support team:
    1. In the Sign On tab copy your Client ID
    2. In the Sign On tab copy your Client Secret
    3. In the Sign On tab click the OpenID Provider Metadata link and copy the “issuer” value from the listed metadata.
      1. If you see a message saying OpenID Connect is not configured, click “OpenId Provider Metadata” and copy the value for “issuer”. This should be a url.
  4. Send these 3 values to Cabinet’s support team member you are working with, in addition to your company’s domain(s). This is typically the domain associated with the email address used for sign-in through Okta.

  3. Click the “Sign in” button on that screen.
  4. If you are prompted for your Okta username and password, enter them.
  5. If the credentials provided are valid, you will be redirected to Cabinet and will be logged into Cabinet’s dashboard.
